First Experts Workshop of e-security Incidents Management
Within the framework of the AMPARO Project, an initiative launched by LACNIC with the support of the International Development Research Center (IDRC).
We inform that the quota for the workshop has been completed and the registry is closed. Thanks for your interest in the AMPARO project.
The workshop has been designed exclusively for computer security professionals (with incident management experience) who wish to join the AMPARO Project and become part of its team of instructors, as well as to contribute material on the subject which may be used to conduct training courses or seminars in their countries or organizations of origin, possibly with the backing of LACNIC and the IDRC.
Due to logistic reasons, the number of participants will be limited to a maximum of fifty, for which reason we recommend that you confirm your participation as soon as possible by applying to contactoamparo@lacnic.net and providing the information on the online form.
The materials that will be used for this workshop have been developed as part of a previous phase of the AMPARO Project. They will be presented by their authors −prestigious experts of the Latin American and Caribbean region− and, together with the contributions of the participants of the Experts Workshop, we hope that they will become the first technical instruction manual for future training courses to be conducted by the AMPARO Project in different countries of the region.
The cost for participating in the Experts Workshop is U$S 300 dollars per person, in exchange for which each participant will receive the abovementioned training, the material for its future reproduction, and a certificate of participation.
