Regional Training Workshop for e-Security technical experts (Ecuador)

This workshop is organized by LACNIC with the support of the International Development Research Center (IDRC) and AEPROVI.

 

It is aimed at professionals in e-Security topics interested in receiving a training to create and manage CSIRTs.

 

Preference will be given to participants coming from one of the following countries: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

 

The training course will be of 36 hours duration and will consist in the following:

  1. Presentations made by the experts;
  2. Face-to-face seminars on the management of internet security incidents;
  3. Presentation made by the participants;
  4. Workshops (Hands on) to transfer knowledge about methodology and techniques for the better use of the tools;
  5. Round table with broad participation

 

The cost of this Workshop will be of USD 500, in exchange of it the participant will receive the mentioned training, the material for his future reproduction and a certificate of participation. All coffee breaks and lunches will be included in the registration fee. This Workshop will be held in Spanish.
